Pastor Robert Young:

Go to your quiet and comfortable place to sit or lie down, close your eyes and take a few deep breaths, inviting the presence of God to surround you. Now take a few deep breaths in for a count of seven. Hold the breath for a count of five. Now slowly exhale for a count of seven. Let's begin our muscle relaxation exercise by simply tensing each muscle group for three seconds and then releasing the muscle. Remember, don't hold your breath for this portion of the meditation. Begin with the calves, lightly tense the calf muscles for a count of three and release. Moving upward to the hamstrings, quads and glutes, lightly tense for three seconds and release. Moving to the chest and the back areas, lightly tense for three seconds and release. Finally, moving to the arms and shoulders, lightly tense these muscle groups for three seconds and release. Psalms 100, verse 4, tells us to enter into his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. Take a few moments and lift up your voice and sing a song of adoration and thanksgiving to our Heavenly Father, who is worthy of all honor and glory. J As you settle into a state of peace and relaxation, reflect on the world's definition of success. How does our society measure success? Is it through wealth, fame, material possessions or even social media followers? Now ask God to give you the strength to let go of these worldly standards and turn your thoughts to God's definition of success. In Psalms, chapter 1, verse 1, we are reminded that true success comes from delighting in God's word and meditating on it day and night. This is the key to living a fulfilled and fruitful life. Take a moment to think about how you can align your goals and decisions with God's Word. In Matthew, chapter 16, verse 26, J jesus poses a powerful question, what good will it be for someone to gain the whole world yet forfeit their soul? This verse challenges us to examine our priorities and consider what truly matters in the eyes of God. . As you continue to meditate on God's definition of success, remember the words of Jeremiah, chapter 29, verse 11. For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future. Trust in God's plan for your life, knowing that they are far greater than anything the world has to offer. Allow these scriptures to guide your thoughts and prayers as you seek to redefine success in your life. Embrace God's wisdom and guidance, knowing that true success comes from living in alignment with His will for your life. Let go of the pressure to conform to societal standards and instead focus on honoring God in all that you do. T take a few moments to sit in silence, allowing God's truth to sink deep into your heart. When you're ready, slowly open your eyes and carry this new perspective on success with you throughout your day. May you find peace and fulfillment in seeking God's definition of success above all else. Amen, thank you, you
