Welcome to today's meditation on how precious your tears are to God. In the book of Psalms 100, verse 4, it tells us to enter into his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. Take a moment to lift up your voice in praise and sing a song of adoration and thanksgiving to our Heavenly Father, who is worthy of all honor and glory. Before we start reflecting on the scriptures, let's get more centered, close your eyes and take a few deep breaths, inviting the presence of God to surround you. Now take a few deep breaths in for a count of seven. Hold the breath for a count of five. Now slowly exhale for a count of seven. Let's begin our muscle relaxation exercise by simply tensing each muscle group for three seconds and then releasing the muscle. Remember, don't hold your breath for this portion of the meditation. Begin with the calves, l Lightly tense the calf muscles for a count of three and release. Moving upward to the hamstring, quads and glutes, lightly tense for three seconds and release. Moving to the chest and back areas, lightly tense for three seconds and release. Finally, moving to the arms and shoulders, lightly tense these muscle groups for three seconds and release.. Now that we're settled into this moment of stillness. Take a moment to reflect on the state of the world you, as you do, you may feel a range of emotions bubbling up inside you-fear, sadness, frustration, , even anger. Take a deep breath and acknowledge these feelings, knowing that it is okay to feel them and it is okay to let your J tears flow. Let's reflect on the three occasions in the Bible where Jesus wept to be our guide. The first instance is when Jesus wept at the tomb of his friend, lazarus. In the book of John, chapter 11, verse 35, it says Jesus wept. 35, it says Jesus wept. This shows us that even though Jesus knew he would raise Lazarus from the dead, he still empathized with the sorrow of those around him. The second time Jesus wept was when he looked over Jerusalem and mourned over the city's impending destruction. In the book of Luke, chapter 19, verse 41, it says and when he drew near and saw the city, he wept over it. This shows us Jesus' compassion for humanity, even in the face of impending rejection and betrayal. The third time Jesus wept was in the Garden of Gethsemane, where he agonized over his impending crucifixion. In the book of Hebrews, chapter 5, 5, verse 7, it says In the days of his flesh, jesus offered up prayers and supplications with loud cries and tears to him, who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence. This shows us Jesus' humanity and immense sacrifice he made for our salvation. As you meditate on these moments of weeping, consider your own emotions and struggles. Offer them up to Jesus, knowing that he understands and empathizes with your pain. Take comfort in the fact that Jesus wept not only for those around him, but for you as well. Ask God to give you the strength and courage to face your own sorrows and trials, knowing that Jesus is with you every step of the way. Remember that through his tears, jesus. brings us hope, healing and, ultimately, eternal life. pre... A

In Psalms 56, verse 8, it says you keep track of all my sorrows.

You have collected all my tears in your bottle.

Pastor Robert Young:

You have recorded each one in your book. Let these words wash over you, knowing that God sees your tears, he collects them and he treasures them as precious. As you continue to breathe deeply, feel the release of your emotions through your tears, allow yourself to be vulnerable in the presence of God, knowing that he understands your pain and sorrow. Let your tears be a form of prayer, a way of connecting with God on a deeper level In this chaotic and uncertain world. It is okay to cry, it is okay to feel overwhelmed and burdened by the weight of it all, but remember that you are not alone. God is with you, holding you in his loving embrace, wiping away your tears and giving you the strength to carry on. Giving you the strength to carry on as you prepare to return to the busyness of this world. Take a moment to thank God for being a God who sees your tears, who understands your pain and who comforts you in times of sorrow, knowing that your tears are precious to him and he will never leave your side.
